The Microfibre Consortium publishes what it claims is the first in-depth statistical analysis of the causes of fibre loss during laundering

WHITLEY BAY - A new report today provides what are claimed to be the first data-driven insights into the root causes of fibre fragmentation from finished fabrics in the fashion and textile industry.

Published by the Microfibre Consortium (TMC), it presents the results of statistical analysis from testing over 1,000 different fabrics by the organisation's 95 signatory brands, retailers, suppliers and researchers.
