Cotton programme hits 100,000 farmer milestone

The Organic Cotton Accelerator says it is taking a vital step toward scaling organic cotton globally with more than 100,000 farmers now registered

The project explores how different agricultural practices influence ecological health

The Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) initiative says it has achieved a significant milestone during the current 2024-2025 cotton season, with over 100,000 farmers now part of its farm programme.

The growth builds on the 2023-2024 season, during which OCA worked with 82,264 farmers in India and Pakistan, including 35,070 in-conversion farmers, across 106,010 hectares.
