CAMBRIDGE – Biomaterials start-up Pact has raised £9 million in a seed funding round which it will use to scale-up production capabilities for its collagen technology and invest in further leather-alternative, next-generation materials.
The company, which was founded in 2020 produces ‘Oval’, which is described as the ‘world’s first’ scalable and climate-responsible biomaterial crafted from proteins found in natural collagen.
