A new WRAP report outlines how preloved and repair services are displacing new fast fashion sales
The growth in a range of circular fashion business models, such as resale and repair, is having a positive impact in stopping the purchase of new clothes in the UK market, a new report suggests.
The report from environmental action NGO, WRAP, ‘Displacement Rates Untangled’ highlights how, up to now, a key factor hampering progress in reducing textile waste has been a failure to agree a consistent methodology for assessing the benefits of new ways of selling.
