Fashion industry playbook targets microfibre shedding

New series of guides aims to equip brands with the tools to act now rather than wait for regulatory action or new technologies

SANTA MONICA / ARLINGTON - A new fashion industry 'playbook' has been published in an attempt to help brands take the first steps in reducing microfibre emissions.

Developed by the 5 Gyres Institute nonprofit and the Nature Conservancy environmental organisation, it aims to point brands to resources that they can use now to reduce impacts.
